From Wabash Valley College release
MT. CARMEL - Wabash Valley College is once again hosting the Tri-State All-Star Basketball Games on Sunday, April 26 at the Spencer Sports Center on the WVC campus.
Opening the All-Star games will be Jr. High School Girls at 12:30 p.m., CST. This will include 15-20 players from the Evansville area and Southern Illinois, including Mollie Dardeen of Mt. Carmel and Meredith Jones of St. Mary’s. The Jr. High School Boys will take to the court at 2:00 p.m., CST, with over 20 players from Southern Indiana and Illinois, including Austin Rager, Bret Doan, and Logan Durham of Mt. Carmel.
High School games begin at 3:30 p.m., CST, with more than 20 Girls participating, from Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois. Players include: Kaci Wallace and Desia Outlaw of Henderson County, Kentucky, and Tori Schickel of Evansville Mater Dei, as well as Kendra Cessna and Allison Tullis of Fairfield.
Wrapping up the games will be the High School Boys at 5:00 p.m., CST. Players include: Mario Barnes of 4A Indiana State Runner-Up Evansville Reitz; 6’9 Austin Robertson of Indiana 2A State Runner-Up Linton-Stockton; 1,000 pt.-scorer Conner Sevier of Wood Memorial; Levi Laws and Sam Deisher of Mt. Carmel; Nate Niederhauys and Josh Mans of Princeton. In addition, players will be participating from Webster County Kentucky, Bloomington North, Terre Haute North, South Knox, Paoli, Lawrenceville, Olney, Evansville Bosse, Odin, West Vigo, and NCOE.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for those under 18. Concessions will be available.
