Two former Wabash Valley College Warriors helped their teams to victories on Thursday in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

Jon Octeus came off the bench to score 13 points as Colorado State upset Missouri, 84-72, in a Midwest Region game in Lexington, Ky. The 26-8 Rams next face Louisville (30-5), the overall top-seed in the 68-team tournament, on Saturday.

Nick Wiggins and the Wichita State Shockers topped Pittsburgh, 73-55, in a West Regional game. Wiggins pulled down one rebound in three minutes of play.

• Harvard upset New Mexico, 68-64, in the West Regional, ending the season for Mt. Carmel’s Craig Snow, an assistant coach with the Lobos.
